Cube starting stalling issues
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Nissan Cube was experiencing starting issues, stalling when idling, rough running, and increased fuel consumption, with the check engine light on. The problem was suspected to be related to the fuel pump, possibly due to a bad connection. After checking the connections and taking the car to a workshop, it was confirmed that a faulty connection to the fuel pump was the cause, which was then repaired, resolving the issues.

Fuel pump relay, huh? Where is that located on the Cube? And how would I check the cable and plug connection? I'm not super experienced with car mechanics.

On my Mazda, the relay was in the engine bay fuse box. I'm not sure about the Cube specifically, you'll have to check the car's manual. As for the cable and plug, visually inspect them for damage, corrosion, or looseness. If you're not comfortable doing that, honestly, it might be best to take it to a workshop. Fuel issues can be tricky.

I checked the connections, but didn't see anything obvious. Took it to the shop, and you were right! It was a bad connection to the fuel pump. They fixed it for 95€, and it runs like new now!

Sounds frustrating! I had similar issues with my old 2008 Mazda 3. Rough running, stalling… turned out to be a bad fuel pump relay. Have you checked the fuel pump's electrical connections – the cable and plug? Could be a loose or corroded connection causing the problem.
