Hey there! Your situation reminds me a lot of my own episode with my Dacia Logan last year. Had a similar problem with my heated seats, not fun when it's the middle of the winter, I can tell you! I reckon it ended up being some janky wiring, which was messing with the switch. Took it to my usual guy and he managed to get it sorted. But, you caught my curiosity! Do you remember how many quids you had to part with to get the wiring fixed? Did any other glitches pop up afterwards? Cheers!

Hey! Yeah, the cost to sort out that pesky defective cable connection/plug hit me with a 95€ bill - But it was totally worth it, seated comfort restored! There hasn't been any problems since the fix. Notably, the mechanic had a look at the massage seat switch like you wondered about in your initial question. Happy to tell you that was sorted as well! So all in all, I would say don't sweat it too much, just gotta find a willing mechanic. Cheers!

Hey, good stuff lads! Your responses are just what I needed. Our issues definitely match. I might take the chance with a switch check too then, like you did. So, I've got to find a mechanic who won't fumble around with the cables and cause more harm. As for the cost, I guess comfort comes at a price, right? No more dreadfully uncomfortable rides. Thanks a bunch for the wisdom, guys. You’ve made me feel more confident about this whole thing! Cheers!

Hey! I had something similar with my 2012 Dacia Sandero. The culprit turned out to be a defective cable connection/plug, not the switch. My mechanic took care of it in the last visit, it wasn't a complex job. Although I didn't have the same issue with my massage seat, the symptoms you described remind me of the malfunction in mine. They had to remove the seat to access the plugs and cables and found a loose connector there. Not a massive drama but it definitely needs an experienced person to go through this tangle of wires. Hope this helps!
