Hey! Thanks for sharing your experience, really eased my worries a bit. Guess first thing tomorrow, I'm heading over to a garage. Glad to hear things turned out all right with your Duster's headlamp assembly! Can you recall how much setting you back the whole fixing process? And, just for my peace of mind, has anything else popped up related to the lights since the fix? Thanks again, really appreciate it! Safe travels!
Hey! No problem, happy to help! It cost me around 102€ to get the whole A lamp issue sorted. It was a bit of a hit on the wallet, but safety first, right? And the good news - no more scary flickering or dark roads for me. Everything's been running smoothly since I got it fixed. Ah and that indicator defect that had me worried was sorted out since I visited the mechanic. The lights are all good now. I reckon it's always better to get any hitches looked into asap, regardless. You never know what could be linked to what, eh? Best of luck with your Spring! Head to that garage first thing tomorrow. Safe driving!
Hey! Sweet! That's great to hear! Yeah, safety does come first, and the cost doesn't seem too outrageous considering the safety risk involved. Glad all's been going well with the lights since the fix. Now you've got me convinced, this has to be handled immediately. I'll get my Spring checked out first thing in the morning at the garage. I truly appreciate your advice and sharing your experience! Here's to smooth and safe driving! Cheers!
Hey there, So funny story, I faced a similar issue with my 2019 Dacia Duster a while back, petrol version though. One of the lamps on my car was acting up, flickering and sometimes completely going dark. I headed over to my local garage, and it turned out to be a faulty headlamp assembly. Apparently, defective assemblies could cause the lights to misalign, dim, or even flicker in some cases. They had to replace the entire assembly to rectify the problem. But don't panic - it's a mechanical issue, and contrary to what some might think, it's not a signal of some significant underlying problem with the car's electrical system, at least in my case, it wasn't. So, not a deal-breaker or any severe issue but get it checked out soon. You don't want to be stuck on the road with poor lighting conditions. Honestly, the experience with my mechanic this time was smooth. He explained everything properly and the work was done efficiently. So, go to a trusted mechanic and hopefully, you should have your issue sorted pretty quickly. Hope this helps! Stay safe on the roads!
