You mentioned a loose connection under the seat. Was it just a simple unplugging and plugging back in, or was there visible damage to the wires or the connector itself? I'm not sure I'll be able to detect problems easily.

In my case it looked ok so I just unplugged it, cleaned the pins and plugged it back in, but in the workshop they found out that the main source of the problem was a defective cable or plug connection. I suggest you go to the workshop, they can fix it for around 95€. Hope this helps!

Great, thanks for the info! I appreciate you sharing your experience. I'll take it to a workshop and mention the possibility of a loose connection, and ask them to have a look at the cable or plug connection before replacing more expensive parts. Thanks again!

I have a Nissan Dayz too. I had a similar issue a while back, and for me, it turned out to be a loose connection in the wiring harness under the passenger seat. Have you checked those connections? Might be worth a look before you take it in for more serious diagnostics.
