Dayz low heating output
Summary of the thread
The main issue is low heating output in a 2006 Nissan Dayz, accompanied by an error code. Potential causes include a faulty water valve or issues with the cable or plug connection. A suggestion was made to check the engine coolant level, as low coolant can affect heating and trigger error codes, but the coolant level appeared normal. The recommended solution is to have the water valve professionally checked at a workshop.

Thanks. Coolant level seems okay, and I don't see any leaks. Could it still be a coolant issue even without those symptoms? Trying to avoid unnecessary repairs.

In my case, the coolant level appeared normal at first too, but the system was clearly not working correctly. Based on your error code, I would recommend taking it to a workshop to get the water valve checked properly. My repair was around 95€.

Appreciate the advice! Sounds like it's worth getting it professionally checked then. I will take it to the workshop as suggested. Thanks!

I had a similar issue with my Dayz. Have you checked your engine coolant level? A low coolant level can definitely cause poor heating and trigger error codes. Also, any sign of coolant leak?
