Dayz rail pressure sensor fault

My 2016 Nissan Dayz with a gasoline engine has developed a fault. The check engine light illuminates, the engine stalls at idle sometimes, and power is reduced. Diagnostics point to a faulty rail pressure sensor signal. Anyone experienced this?

I had something similar happen in my Dayz, though I'm not sure if it's the exact same year. The engine acted like it was starving for fuel. Check your fuel pressure; that could be the culprit. Did you notice any changes in fuel consumption?

Fuel consumption seems normal. When you say 'something similar,' was it the pressure sensor specifically, or another component in the fuel system?

I never got a precise confirmation, but the symptoms were bang-on! It felt like the car was running on fumes even with a full tank. Eventually, I took it to a workshop; they fixed the problem. You should do the same. Don't want to risk making things worse.

Understood. I appreciate the insight. Replacing the pressure sensor resolved the issue. Total cost was 240€.
