DMax Brake Pedal Feedback

Hey, having a weird issue with my 2022 Chevrolet DMax diesel. The brake pedal is giving me some strange feedback. Mileage is at 87839 km. Any ideas? I thought it might be the brake pads, but they look okay.

Summary of the thread

A 2022 Chevrolet DMax diesel owner experienced unusual brake pedal feedback at 87,839 km. Initially suspecting brake pads, the issue was later identified as an undervoltage problem affecting the brake system, particularly the ABS and brake calipers. The solution involved addressing the undervoltage, which resolved the brake feedback issue.

I had something similar with my DMax, but ages ago. Felt like the brake system was fighting back, right? Was your battery acting up around the same time?

Yeah, exactly! Fighting back is a good way to describe it. Battery...hmm, I haven't noticed anything specific. What kind of battery issues are we talking about?

Well, for me, it turned out to be some kind of undervoltage screwing with the ABS or something. I'm not a mechanic, but it was connected. Best get it checked before it gets worse. Metal brakes aren't something you want failing.

Cheers. Took it to the shop, and you were spot on. They found an undervoltage issue messing with the brake calipers. Cost me 240€ to sort, but at least it's fixed now. Thanks again!
