Doblo AC Failure
Summary of the thread
The 2023 Fiat Doblo's air conditioning system has stopped working, with no cooling or activation when the AC button is pressed. The fuses have been checked and are fine, suggesting other potential issues. Possible causes include a faulty AC relay or a malfunctioning pressure switch, which could prevent the system from activating to protect the compressor. It is recommended to have AC diagnostics performed by a professional to identify and resolve the issue.

Thanks for the suggestions! Where exactly is the AC relay located? And how would I check the pressure switch? I'm not really sure where to start with that. Is it something I can do myself, or will I need special tools?

Okay, so the AC relay location can vary, but it's usually in the main fuse box under the hood. Check your owner's manual; it should have a diagram. As for the pressure switch, you'd need manifold gauges to read the system pressure, and honestly, messing with the cooling system without the proper tools and knowledge can be risky. Given that it's not even switching on, and you've checked the basics, it really does sound like a defect with an individual valve or a deeper problem. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to avoid causing further damage. Expect a bill around 1000€.

Thanks so much for your help! I suspected it was beyond my limited skills. I'll book it in with a local garage and mention the possible valve issue. Hopefully, they can sort it out without too much trouble.

Hmm, that's a common issue I've seen pop up. Since the fuses are okay, it could be a few things. Have you checked the AC relay? Sometimes those can fail. Also, is your temperature control set correctly, and is the pressure switch working as it should? If the pressure is too low, the system won't kick in to protect the compressor. You might need to get some AC diagnostics done.
