DS3 System Readiness Check Incomplete
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Citroen DS3 diesel owner experienced a 'system readiness check incomplete' message after performing an OBD2 diagnostic. The issue was likely caused by the diagnostic process itself, which introduced problems. The suggested solution was to have the stored error codes properly examined and the vehicle's computer reset by a mechanic, which resolved the issue without any cost.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Thanks for the response! I was really hoping it wasn't the exhaust system. Emissions test is in a few weeks so that could explain the message. If you had this issue after running diagnostics, how did you solve it?

The incomplete system readiness after an OBD2 readout is what happened to me, yes. I had to take it to the workshop. Seems the recent read introduced problems. I advise getting the stored error codes looked at properly. Then they should reset the computer.

Thanks for the advice! So, I took it to a mechanic. Turns out, the system just needed a computer reset after the OBD2 reading. No cost! Hopefully this helps someone else down the line.

Hello, I also drive a DS3, though the year is different. I had similar symptoms appear after running diagnostics. Is the exhaust system the problem? Could the check engine light be related? Is the vehicle inspection coming up soon?
