DS4 ABS Fault

Hi. I've got a 2014 Citroen DS4, gasoline engine, with about 86900 km. Recently, the ABS lamp lights up, and I'm experiencing traction problems, basically a failure of the ABS system. Could this be a speed signal fault? I checked the basics, like fuses, but I'm running out of ideas.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my old Saab a while back. ABS light, traction control going nuts... Turned out to be a faulty ABS control unit. Did you notice anything weird with the odometer or speedometer?

Interesting. No, nothing obvious with the odometer or speedometer. They seem to be working fine. But if it's the ABS control unit, is there any way to confirm that without just replacing it?

Well, with my Saab, the speedo seemed okay at first too, but the control unit was sending incorrect data intermittently. Honestly, unless you've got diagnostic software, it's tough to pinpoint for sure. Best bet is to get it checked out at a workshop with the proper tools.

Thanks for the insight! Turns out you were spot on, it was indeed the ABS control unit. Local shop confirmed it. Cost me around 1000€ to get it sorted. Appreciate the help!
