Indeed! A noticeable deficiency in power, especially when attempting to overtake. It feels as though an invisible hand is holding the car back. Given that you experienced a similar predicament with your Vauxhall, could you perhaps enlighten me further? Were the symptoms identical? Did a replacement of the sensor resolve the issue entirely?

Symptoms sound the same. I tried cleaning the sensor, checking the wiring, but no luck. Ended up getting it replaced. Best bet is to get it checked at a workshop, they'll confirm the fault and replace the sensor. Got to keep those vehicle emissions in check.

I shall schedule an appointment with a reputable workshop. The estimated repair cost is approximately 245€. Hopefully, a new exhaust back pressure sensor will restore my DS4 to its former glory.

Yep, sounds familiar. Had the same symptoms on my old Vauxhall Astra, different engine though. Exhaust back pressure sensor was faulty. Is the car down on power as well?
