DS4 electrical malfunction and navigation failure

I'm having a strange issue with my 2013 Citroen DS4 gasoline. It has almost 250k kilometers. The car throws an error, and it seems like a general electrical malfunction. Also, the navigation system doesn't work at all. After checking with onboard diagnostics, it points towards implausible programming of the control unit. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar thing happen with my old Opel astra, though the symptoms were slightly different. Worth checking if it might be a software bug? Has the unit had a recalibration or software reset?

A software bug, you say? Interesting. Could you elaborate a bit more? What exactly did you do to fix it in your Opel?

Well, I tried a few things myself, but in the end, I had to take it to a workshop. They said the programming was corrupted and needed a reset. Better get it checked, since your error memory is also affected.

Thanks for the info! I suspected something like that. I'll take it to the shop. The estimate I got was around 240€, so hopefully, that will sort it out.
