DS4 Exhaust Flap Issue

Thanks! It's more of a constant drone, especially at lower speeds. Where is the flap motor located? I couldn't find it. And what kind of gunk are we talking about?

Constant drone points to a similar issue I had. The motor's usually near the exhaust pipe. Gunk is just road grime, carbon buildup. Honestly, I'd just take it to a workshop. They can diagnose it properly and replace the faulty component.

Appreciate the advice! My local mechanic found a defective exhaust flap. Repair cost me 190€ parts and labor included, not as bad as I was expecting. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

DS4 owner here. Sounds familiar. Is it a constant loud drone, or does it come and go? I had something similar. Have you checked the flap motor itself? Sometimes they get gunked up and seize.
