DS4 Tailgate Hall Sensor Issue

I'm having trouble with the tailgate on my 2022 Citroen DS4 hybrid. It's not opening completely, and the error memory shows a fault. I've done some looking around and think it might be the tailgate hall sensor. Could it be a bad cable or plug? Has anyone else had this issue?

I had a similar issue with my DS4. It wasn't opening properly. Have you checked the sensor itself for any physical damage?

When you had the issue, did the diagnostics point to the hall sensor specifically, or was it a process of elimination? Any details would be great, as I try to figure out what's wrong.

It was the hall sensor, confirmed by the workshop. I'd suggest getting it checked, could save you some hassle.

I took it to a workshop, and it was the hall sensor! Replacing it cost 95€, and the tailgate works now. Your help saved me a lot of time!
