DS5 Audio System Failure

Hi, I've got a 2013 Citroen DS5 with a gasoline engine, and my audio system has completely died. Nothing coming through the speakers at all. I've tried playing music via USB and Bluetooth, but still nothing. It's like the whole sound system is switched off, but it isn't. Any ideas? The car has 133699 km on the clock.

I had something similar happen in my DS5, although it was a bit more gradual. First the sound would distort, then cut out completely sometimes. Does it happen all the time or just occasionally? If it's like mine was, could be a speaker issue. Have you checked the bass speaker?

It's constant - no audio at all, ever. A bass speaker, you say? Where is that located? Is it hard to get to? I'm okay with basic DIY, but not really a mechanic. Could that really kill the whole system, like cutting the power to everything?

Yeah, the bass speaker being defective can take out the whole system. It's like a short circuit tripping a breaker. It's in the door, I think. Best to let the workshop investigate, though.
