DS5 Damping Adjustment Fault

Hi, I'm having some issues with my 2016 Citroen DS5 diesel. It's got 71220 km on the clock. The damping adjustment seems faulty. I'm getting an error stored in the memory and a warning light on the speedometer. Plus, the ride is super bumpy. Anyone experienced something similar? Any ideas what could be causing this?

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old Volvo, though a different model. Bumpy ride, error messages... Was it possibly a cable or plug connection issue? Those can cause havoc with the suspension system.

A cable or plug connection? Really? Where exactly should I be looking? Is that something I could check myself?

Well, with my Volvo, it was a corroded connector. But honestly, unless you're comfortable poking around, it's probably best to get it checked. I bit the bullet and took mine to a workshop. Saved myself a headache.

Thanks for the advice! Took it to a mechanic, and you were spot on! It was indeed a defective cable connection. Repair cost me 95€. Sorted now!
