DS5 Exhaust Flap Issue

I've got a 2015 Citroen DS5 hybrid. Mileage is at 211075 km. The exhaust flaps seem to be playing up. Getting an error stored in the memory, exhaust noise is louder than usual, and the engine sounds noisy after a cold start. Pretty sure the exhaust flap itself is defective. Anyone else had similar?

Sounds familiar! Had almost the exact same thing with my old Volvo V60 a few years back. Drove me nuts! Was it throwing any specific fault codes, or just a general 'exhaust issue' type thing?

Just a general exhaust issue code, nothing specific sadly. Did you ever figure out exactly what was causing yours?

Yeah, turned out to be the flap actuator on mine. The whole exhaust valve setup was kaput. Ended up costing a small fortune. If it's making a racket and throwing codes, probably best to get it into a workshop and have them take a peek. Could be an exhaust blockage brewing, and you don't want that!

Cheers, appreciate the insight. I'll get it booked in. It was indeed the exhaust flap actuator, had it replaced for 190€. Running smooth again!
