DS5 Gearbox Slipping

Hi, I'm having gearbox issues with my 2018 Citroen DS5 gasoline. It's done 238075 km. The paddle shifters don't work, and the gearbox is slipping and shifting roughly. I'm getting grinding noises when it shifts. The response from the paddle shifters is slow, and sometimes the gearbox goes into emergency mode. I scanned it and there's an error stored. Anyone experienced something similar?

Sounds familiar. I've got a DS5 as well, and had similar symptoms. Could be the transmission control unit. Is it throwing any error codes related to that?

Yeah, I think so. It's pointing towards a defective control unit. Did you have the same error? And was it definitely the control unit that was causing all those problems?

Yep, sounds like the same thing. Replacing the control unit sorted it for me. I'd get it checked out properly at a workshop, though, just to be sure.

Thanks for the info! I took it to a workshop and they confirmed it's the transmission control unit. Quoted me around 1000€ for the repair. Seems like that's the culprit. Appreciate the help!
