DS5 Radar Sensor Error

I'm having a radar sensor malfunction with my 2014 Citroen DS5 hybrid (105535 kilometers). Error message in the speedometer, error stored in memory, systems reliant on radar failing, and warning light on. I checked for obstructions but found none. Anyone seen this before?

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my 2016 Opel Insignia. Random errors, and it was a dirty sensor. Even though I couldn't SEE anything, a proper clean fixed it. Did you try cleaning it with a special sensor cleaner or just wiping it?

I just used a microfiber cloth. What 'special sensor cleaner' did you use? Was it automotive-specific, and did it need special application?

Yeah, it was an automotive sensor cleaner, designed not to leave residue. I sprayed it on and wiped it off gently. I'd suggest a workshop visit, especially with those error messages. They can diagnose and recalibrate if needed.

I cleaned the radar sensor with specialized automotive sensor cleaner as suggested. The error messages vanished, and everything is working again. It was a contaminated sensor. Cost me 45€ for the cleaner. Thanks for the help!
