Ducato Cylinder Pressure Fluctuation

I'm experiencing cylinder pressure fluctuation in my 2005 Fiat Ducato diesel with 25747 km. Symptoms include higher fuel consumption, reduced engine power, and the check engine light. Could this be a timing belt issue, or is it more likely piston rings?

Hmm, reminds me of a similar headache I had with my old Renault Scenic. Same symptoms – reduced power, check engine light. You checked the spark plugs and fuel injector already?

Spark plugs? This is a diesel engine. Could this error really be triggered by something else?

Right, diesel, my bad. Just that the Scenic had a consequential error. I'd suggest going to a workshop. Seems hard to pinpoint without proper diagnostic tools.

Thanks for the advice. You were right, it was a consequential error. A faulty sensor was causing the cylinder pressure issue. Repair cost was 0€ since it was a warranty issue.
