Ducato engine stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2020 gasoline Ducato with 121,669 km was experiencing stalling issues at idle and a check engine light. The suspected cause was a leak in the fuel tank ventilation system, possibly involving the activated charcoal filter or pressure sensor. After replacing the activated charcoal filter, the problem was resolved, and the vehicle returned to normal operation.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

It does throw codes pointing towards system failure and potential leaks in the emission control. Did replacing the activated charcoal filter resolve the problem for you, or did further diagnostics become necessary?

To be honest, I just took it to a workshop. I'm not really that mechanically inclined. They mentioned something about the EVAP system and a leak, but I didn't catch all the details. Seemed easier than messing with it myself.

Turns out, it was the activated charcoal filter. After replacement, and a bill of 275€, everything seems to be running smoothly again.

Hey, I had something similar with my Ducato. Check engine light and the engine stalling out sounds familiar. Was yours throwing any specific codes related to the EVAP system or leak detection?
