Coolant leak, you say? Nope, temp seems normal. What do you mean by "cable or plug connection"? Where exactly should I be looking? I'm no mechanic.

Overheating can mess with the whole system. With the Opel, it was a faulty connection to the oil cooler – basically a loose wire. That triggered all sorts of alarms. Honestly, it's probably best to visit a good shop to measure pressure gauge and check oil cooler. They'll sort it out quicker than you tinkering around.

Alright, I give up. Dropped it off at the local specialist. Turns out it was a defective cable connector related to the radiator oil pressure! They charged me 95€ to fix it. Thanks for the advice; you were spot on!

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my old Opel Insignia. The gearbox slipped horribly, like it couldn't decide which gear to pick. Transmission was also acting up. Check your cable or plug connection of the component. Is your car overheating at all? Any signs of a coolant leak?
