No recent repairs that I know of. Is there any common chaffing point in the loom that's known to cause issues? I'm trying to avoid ripping everything apart to chase a broken wire.

Given the absence of recent repair work and considering the vehicle's mileage, a chafed wiring harness is a distinct possibility. However, without a thorough diagnostic examination, pinpointing the exact location is difficult. I would recommend a qualified automotive technician to assess the electrical system.

Thanks for the advice. Turns out it was exactly as we suspected, a faulty connector. 95€ later and it's fixed.

I understand you are experiencing an issue with the turn signal functionality of your Fiat Ducato. Based on the symptoms you have described, the diagnostic direction you are considering is plausible. Has any repair work been performed on the vehicle recently that could have disturbed the relevant wiring harness?
