Dynasty transmission oil pressure sensor fault
Summary of the thread
A 2000 Hyundai Dynasty exhibited a transmission oil pressure sensor fault, indicated by an engine warning light and gearbox issues such as slipping and grinding noises. The problem was identified as low transmission oil, which can trigger the sensor fault. After topping off the oil and confirming the sensor was functioning correctly, the issues were resolved.

Thanks, good point. I will check it. If the oil level is too low, would that directly trigger the sensor fault?

Yes, low oil can definitely trigger the sensor. Although, I recommend visiting a workshop to check the sensor, as it might be faulty, as well.

Thanks for the tip. It was indeed the oil level. Topped it off and the problem went away. Got the sensor checked as well; it was fine. Repair cost me 365€.

I had similar transmission issues with my Dynasty. Is your gearbox oil level okay? That was the culprit for me.
