E Klasse engine wont start terminal fifteen error

My 2000 E Klasse with a diesel engine is giving me trouble. It won't start. The scan tool shows an error about Terminal 15 ignition positive being interrupted, possibly a circuit break. Where should I begin looking? Could it be the wiring harness, fuse box, or battery terminal? I suspect a voltage drop.

Terminal 15 issue? I had something similar on my E Klasse. Have you checked the wiring harness connection near the fuse box? It could be a loose connection. Is the error consistent?

Near the fuse box? Is that easy to access? The error is always present when I scan it. It doesn't go away.

That fixed it for me, but it might be different for you. If the error is constant, I'd suggest a workshop inspection. I ended up going there anyway.

It was a defective plug connection. It cost 95€ to resolve. Not too bad, I guess.
