Thanks for your detailed reply about the brake bleeding. Last service was at 65000 KM so quite recent. The symptoms appeared suddenly during normal driving. No visible brake fluid leaks but the pedal does slowly sink when held. After checking my service records and given the car has 68123 KM, I am wondering if I should get a brake system pressure test done first before any repairs. The vehicle safety is my top priority so I want to make sure the replacement parts actually fix the root cause rather than just treating symptoms.

Thanks for the additional details. Given your description, especially the sinking brake pedal, this sounds different from my F Pace brake bleeding issue. With 68000+ KM, a brake system pressure test is definitely the right next step. When my brake system was bled, the pedal remained firm when held down. A sinking pedal often indicates either a master cylinder problem or a leak in the hydraulic brakes system that might not be visible yet. In your case, I would strongly recommend: 1. Get a complete brake system pressure test 2. Have the master cylinder specifically checked 3. Request a thorough inspection of all brake lines and connections The sudden onset of symptoms combined with the sinking pedal makes me think this is more serious than my bleeding issue. For reference, when I later had my master cylinder replaced at 75000 KM (different issue), it cost about 450€ including parts and labor. Until you can get it properly diagnosed, I would avoid driving the car since compromised brake performance creates a serious safety risk. Professional diagnostic tools will pinpoint exactly where the pressure loss is occurring in your brake system.

Thanks for the helpful advice. After getting the brake system pressure test done, it turns out the master cylinder was indeed failing. The diagnostic tools confirmed pressure loss was occurring internally in the master cylinder, explaining the sinking brake pedal. The total repair cost was 475€ including parts and labor. They also performed a complete brake system inspection and bleeding as part of the service. The ABS system warning lights cleared immediately after the repair, and the brake pedal now maintains firm pressure when held down. Really glad I followed the advice to avoid driving until it was fixed, as the mechanic showed me how badly worn the master cylinder seals were. The brake booster and rest of the brake system checked out fine, so this should be a lasting fix. After a week of driving, the braking performance feels completely normal again and I have full confidence in the car's safety. For others who might encounter similar brake system issues, getting proper diagnostic testing done first definitely saved time and prevented replacing parts unnecessarily. Thanks again for helping me identify the likely cause and appropriate repair approach.

As someone with moderate experience working on cars, I encountered a very similar issue with my 2019 F Pace. The symptoms you describe match exactly what I experienced, soft brake pedal, reduced braking performance, and ABS warning lights. After taking it to my regular workshop, they found the brake system was bled incorrectly during a previous service. Air in the hydraulic brakes system caused the spongy pedal feel and triggered the ABS system warnings. The fix involved a complete professional brake system bleeding process using proper diagnostic tools to ensure all air was removed. The total repair cost was 90€, and the fix has been completely reliable with no recurring issues for the past 8 months. The brake pedal feel returned to normal, and all warning lights cleared once the system was properly bled. Before jumping to conclusions about the brake booster, could you share: When was your last brake service performed? Did these symptoms appear gradually or suddenly? Are you noticing any brake fluid leaks? Does the brake pedal sink to the floor when held down? This information would help determine if your issue is similar to what I experienced or if it might be something else in the brake system.
