Ecosport Stalling After Fuel Filter Change

For me, it was a faulty fuel pressure sensor after messing with the fuel system. A 'fuel pressure regulator' controls fuel delivered to the engine, but the 'fuel pressure sensor' measures the actual pressure. You might have dislodged something or introduced air into the system when you changed the filter. Could also be the fuel pump itself struggling.

Well, it's hard to say for sure without diagnostics, but in my case, the sensor was the culprit. The ECU (Engine Control Unit) throws a code when it detects values out of spec. As for air, some cars have a bleed valve. If not, a mechanic can check the fuel pressure and maybe see bubbles in the line. If you're not comfortable messing with the fuel system further, honestly, I'd take it to a workshop to get it checked. Peace of mind is worth it!
