Elantra engine stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Hyundai Elantra is experiencing engine stalling and a check engine light, with diagnostics indicating a potential issue with the fuel tank ventilation valve or EVAP system. The problem might be caused by clogged hoses affecting the pressure sensor. A suggestion is made to have the hoses checked by a professional, as similar issues were resolved by addressing hose blockages.

Thanks for the reply. When you say check the hoses, which ones are most likely to clog or fail? Any specific spots to focus on?

It was definitely the hoses. I didn't mess with it myself, though. I took it to the shop. Best 175€ I ever spent; they sorted it right out. I'd say get it checked. Could save you a headache!

I appreciate the advice. I'll take it to a trusted local shop for a checkup and repair. The estimated cost sounds right based on your experience. Thanks again!

Hey, Elantra friend! I had something similar happen a while back. Engine light, stalling... sounds like the same problem. Did you check all the hoses connected to the fuel tank? That's where my gremlins were hiding.
