Electrical problems with Skoda Octavia: Wiper water and seat heating failed

Good morning everyone, I have a problem with my Skoda Octavia. Several electrical functions have failed at the same time: The wiper water pumps for the front and rear windows and the seat heating no longer work. I have already replaced the pumps for the wiper water and checked the fuses. I have also checked the fuses for the seat heating. The headlight washer worked again briefly, but this was only for a short time. I also swapped the relays back and forth, but without success. Has anyone here had similar experiences or any ideas as to what the problem might be? I would be very grateful for your help.

Check the vehicle's ground connections, especially those related to the affected systems. A loose or corroded ground connection can cause multiple electrical issues. Let me know if this resolves the problem or if you need further assistance.

All ground cables coming from the battery have sufficient voltage. Could it be the control unit for the windshield washer system? Or the wiper switch?

It's possible that the control unit or the wiper switch could be causing the issue. However, before replacing any components, try inspecting the wiring harness for any signs of damage or corrosion, particularly around the areas where the affected systems are connected. Let me know if you find anything unusual or if you need further guidance.

Is there a wiring diagram from where to where the cables run?

You can often find wiring diagrams in the vehicle's service manual or through online resources specific to your Skoda Octavia model. These diagrams will help you trace the wiring paths and identify any potential issues. If you don't have access to these resources, consider visiting a dealership or a professional mechanic for assistance. Let me know if you need more help or have further questions.
