That is interesting. I did not consider the battery. Is the BMW system sensitive to low voltage in the same way? What was the resolution in your case?

Indeed, the BMW system is quite sensitive. A weak battery can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins. I had the battery replaced, and that resolved the issue. Considering your Elgrand is showing similar symptoms, I suggest having the battery checked professionally before looking at seat motors or wiring.

Thank you for the insight. I will have the battery inspected as a first step. I will post information when I have it. It turned out to be the battery, as you suggested. After replacing it, the seat worked flawlessly again. The repair cost was 290€

I had a similar issue with my 2012 BMW 5 series. The power seats suddenly stopped working, and the error memory was showing a fault. Did you check your battery? A heavily discharged or defective battery can cause such issues.
