Elgrand Power Window Failure

I had a similar problem with my Elgrand. Replaced the battery and suddenly the window controls were dead. Did you try any kind of reset procedure? I remember reading something about holding the window switch in a certain position, but can't recall the specifics. Is the error consistent, or does it clear and come back?

Yeah, I saw some stuff online about reset procedures, holding the button up, holding it down, etc. Tried a bunch of combinations, but no luck. The error code comes right back after I clear it. Did your reset eventually work, or was it something else? And what year is your Elgrand? Maybe there are differences.

My Elgrand is a similar age to yours. Unfortunately, the reset didn't work for me either. Ended up taking it to a workshop, they had to do something with the car electronics. Cost me a bit, but it fixed the issue. Might be worth considering if you've exhausted all other options.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like I'm heading down the same road. Bit annoying, but at least I know it's probably not something simple I'm missing. It ended up costing me 290€ to have them re-initialize the window regulators. All working now!
