Elgrand Washer Fluid Warning
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Nissan Elgrand was displaying a persistent low washer fluid warning despite the fluid level being adequate. The windshield washer system was also non-functional. Possible causes included blockages or kinks in the washer fluid lines or a faulty pump. The issue was ultimately resolved by replacing a malfunctioning fluid level sensor, costing 25€.

Blockages, huh? Interesting. Where exactly should I be looking for these kinks or blockages? Any specific spots to check first?

Yeah, I'd start right where the tubes connect to the washer bottle and follow them along. Sometimes they can get pinched behind other components. If you can't find anything obvious, it might be worth getting it checked at a workshop - could be a faulty pump. Similar to a dodgy heart in our bodies.

Thanks for the help! Turns out the fluid level sensor was kaput. Cost me 25€ to replace. All good now.

Hey there, I had a similar issue with my Elgrand. I remember the spray jets packed up once - it was a simple fix. Have you checked the lines for any blockages or kinks? Could be like a garden hose getting squashed.
