Elysion Check Engine Light and Stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Honda Elysion owner experienced a persistent check engine light and occasional stalling when idling. The suspected cause was a faulty tank ventilation valve or clogged hoses. After consulting with another owner who had similar issues, it was confirmed that the tank ventilation system was indeed the problem. The owner had the ventilation valve and hoses checked and repaired by a mechanic, resolving the issue.

I did check the gas cap, seems fine. The stalling is kinda random, but mostly when the engine is warm and I'm stopped at a light. What did you do to fix yours? Did you ever throw parts at it?

Okay, if the gas cap is fine, and it's still stalling, it could very well be the tank ventilation system. In my case, it was indeed the ventilation valve and some clogged hoses. Given your mileage and symptoms, I'd strongly recommend getting it checked by a workshop. It will avoid any further damage.

Thanks a bunch for the advice! Took it to a mechanic, and you nailed it – tank ventilation valve was the culprit, hoses were indeed clogged. Cost me 175€ to get it sorted. Runs like a dream now!

Hey! I had a similar issue with my Elysion. The check engine light and the stalling sound familiar. Have you checked the gas cap? Sometimes a loose or faulty gas cap can trigger those symptoms. Is the engine stalling happening often, or just occasionally?
