I've only checked the fuses and glanced at the engine bay. What specific areas of the wiring harness are most likely to fail or disconnect? I'd like to inspect it more closely.

It's hard to say exactly without a scan, but focus on the harness connections near the steering column and where it connects to the cruise control module. Given the error and mileage, it's probably a connection issue, but the module could be faulty. I wouldn't probe further without diagnostic tools. A workshop with Honda-specific equipment would be best.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a shop, and it was a defective cable connection. The repair was 95€, and the cruise control is working again. Your advice saved me from messing with it myself.

Given the symptoms, a defective cable or plug connection seems likely, maybe a loose wire grounding out. The Elysion can be sensitive to connection problems. Have you checked the cruise control stalk and wiring for damage or loose connections? If the system isn't getting a signal, that would explain it.
