Elysion exhaust temperature sensor fault
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Honda Elysion experienced a check engine light, power loss, and increased fuel consumption, with erratic exhaust temperature readings. The issue was suspected to be a leak in the exhaust system. A similar case suggested checking the exhaust temperature sensor for damage or faulty connections. The problem was resolved by replacing the sensor and repairing a small leak near the catalytic converter.

Thanks for the quick reply. Was the temperature fluctuation significant for you? Did the issue end up being the sensor or something else?

The temperature swings were pretty wild, yes. In my case, it turned out to be the sensor. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop; exhaust systems can be tricky.

Took it in and it was the exhaust temperature sensor, plus a small leak near the catalytic converter. Sensor replacement and a small weld cost 265€. Seems fixed now.

I had a similar issue with my Elysion. Check engine light, power loss, the whole shebang. Did you check the sensor itself for damage? Sometimes it's just a faulty connection.
