Endeavour Rough Running and Stalling

My 2010 Ford Endeavour (gasoline engine) with 87363 km has a check engine light, rough running, occasional stalling at idle, and jerking during acceleration. I suspect the fuel pressure sensor. Could a defective cable or plug be the problem? Anyone seen this with their Endeavour?

Sounds like a pain! I had something similar with my old Opel Astra. Check engine light, rough running – yep, been there. Stalling at idle and jerking under acceleration? That's not fun. Did you check the fuel pump relay? Is your fuel economy worse than normal?

Thanks! I haven't checked the fuel pump relay yet, focusing on the fuel pressure sensor. Could you explain the similarities between your Astra's symptoms and mine? Was it a defective cable? What fixed it?

My Astra did similar stuff, but it wasn't the fuel sensor. Turns out a rodent chewed through some wiring! Maybe you have a similar problem. It could be a bunch of things. I'm no mechanic, so I took it to my workshop and spent 95€. Maybe it's time for you to do the same?
