Endeavour System Readiness Check Issue

I own a 2005 Ford Endeavour with a gasoline engine. My system readiness check is incomplete, resulting in an error and a speedometer error message. The car was recently checked via OBD2. Any advice?

I had a similar problem with my Endeavour some time ago. Have you run a drive cycle after the OBD2 diagnostics? Sometimes that resets the onboard diagnostics and clears the readiness flags. It's related to the exhaust system and emissions test.

I have not performed a drive cycle. Could you elaborate on what that entails? Also, could that really be the reason?

I can't guarantee that's the exact issue, but it sorted a similar problem for me. Seems like the system readiness check sometimes gets stuck after an OBD2 reading. It is worth checking this or going straight to the workshop, as it could be something else.

Thank you for the advice. It appears that performing a drive cycle cleared the error! The system readiness check is now complete, and the error message is gone. The repair cost was 0€!
