Engine problems with the 2009 BMW X1: metal shavings in the oil and strange noises

Greetings, there are a few problems with my 2009 BMW X1 gasoline engine that I really can't understand. The oil light is on, there is a strange noise in the engine, metal shavings in the oil and I hear a valve adjustment noise. I suspect there may be a problem with the engine oil pressure system. Have any of you had similar problems and been able to solve them in a workshop? Would love to hear your experiences and tips on this issue. Thanks in advance!

Hi Lonzo, If you're still getting a low oil pressure warning after all these changes, it might be a problem with the oil pump itself or the oil pressure relief valve. It's also possible that there's a blockage in the oil passages. I would recommend having a mechanic perform an oil pressure test to confirm. This is a serious issue and should be addressed immediately to prevent engine damage. Please keep us updated on your progress.
