Enjoy engine won't start
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Chevrolet Enjoy with a gasoline engine wouldn't start, and the engine light was on. Initial suspicions pointed to an engine control malfunction or ECU failure. However, the problem was resolved by addressing corroded and loose battery cable connections, which were cleaned and tightened, allowing the engine to start successfully.

Interesting! I hadn't considered something that simple. You mean just the terminals on the battery itself? Was the engine light also on in your Opel?

Yep, precisely! The terminals. Give them a good clean and make sure they're on tight. The engine light was indeed on, flashing. If that doesn't solve it, I'd recommend getting it to a workshop to check for engine faults

You were spot on! Turns out the battery cable connections were indeed the issue – corroded and loose. Cleaned them up, tightened everything, and she fired right up! Cost me 155€ to get it sorted at the local garage. Thanks a bunch for the suggestion; saved me a ton of headache!

I had a similar issue with my old Opel Corsa. The engine would crank, but never fire up. Have you checked the battery cable connections? That was the culprit in my case – a loose connection causing electrical problems.
