Summary of the thread
A 2008 Hyundai Entourage is experiencing incorrect temperature readings and a check engine light, with the engine taking longer to warm up. Thanks for the quick response. When you say 'crud buildup,' what exactly do you mean? Are we talking leaves, bugs, or something else entirely?

Yep, could be leaves, bugs, road grime, you name it. Anything that restricts airflow. I'd give it a good inspection and cleaning, but honestly, mine was so bad I just took it to a workshop to get it sorted properly. Best to be safe than sorry with overheating!

Understood. I appreciate the advice. I will take it to a workshop. Turns out that the cooling grille was indeed obstructed, which was causing the reported issues. Repair cost was 52€. Thanks again!

Hey there! I had similar issues with my Entourage. The engine temp was all over the place, and the check engine light kept popping up. Have you actually looked at the grille? It might not be the fuse but crud buildup blocking airflow to the radiator.
