Entourage radio error no sound
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Hyundai Entourage is experiencing radio issues with an error message and no sound. The problem might be related to the antenna, as there were prior signs of weak signal and static noise. A suggested solution is to inspect the antenna ground connection for corrosion, as this was a similar issue for another owner. If the problem persists, professional diagnosis and repair might be necessary.

Good shout! Where is the antenna ground located? And yes, the signal was weak and full of static noise for a while before it died completely.

Mine was corroded right where the antenna cable connects near the base of the unit. After fiddling for ages, I just took it to a workshop. They diagnosed a defective antenna and fixed it for around 255€. Worth checking yourself first, but be prepared!

Thanks! I'll check the antenna ground connection first thing tomorrow. If that doesn't fix it, I'm heading to the shop. Cheers for the advice!

I had similar issues with my Entourage. Check the antenna ground; that was my problem. Did you notice any static or signal strength fluctuations before it went completely out?
