EQC brake pedal feedback issue

My 2019 Mercedes EQC electric model is having brake issues at around 179140 km. The brake pedal feels strange and sometimes unresponsive. Could this be related to worn metal brakes like the brake pads or shoes, or perhaps an undervoltage situation affecting the disc brakes?

I have an EQC as well and had a similar issue. The brake pedal felt like it was fighting back. Have you checked if the regenerative braking is working properly? It might be interfering with the mechanical brake system.

How can I verify if the regenerative braking system is functioning correctly? Is there a specific indicator or test I can perform to isolate the issue and determine whether it affects the brake pads or the overall brake system?

I couldn't figure it out myself. The regenerative braking is pretty integrated. If you're getting weird feedback, especially at that mileage, it's probably best to get it checked by a workshop. It could be a sensor issue or something messing with the whole system. Don't risk your brake system.

I appreciate the advice. Consulting a professional seems prudent. The repair was 240€. Thank you for the help.
