Haven't replaced it yet, just wondering if it's a common thing with these keys before I go buy a new battery. So, you're saying you had the same key fob issue?

I experienced a similar issue with my EQC. While replacing the battery may offer a temporary reprieve, it is advisable to consult with a qualified technician for a comprehensive diagnosis. The error memory suggests a deeper investigation may be warranted. The battery replacement is usually a negligible expense, however.

Thanks for the heads up. I changed the battery in the key fob and it seems to have sorted it. Cost me about 37€ for a new battery at the shop. Everything's working as it should now.

Indeed, a low voltage in the electronic key's fob battery is a plausible explanation for the symptoms described. Does the issue resolve itself, temporarily, after replacing the battery?
