Thanks, that's helpful. Where exactly was the corroded connector located on your Insignia? Was it difficult to access?

It was right at the lamp housing itself, pretty easy to get to after removing the tail light assembly. Given it's a similar issue, I'd advise getting it checked at a workshop. Could be more complex than just a simple fix.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to the workshop; corroded connector as suspected. Repair cost 95€. All sorted now.

I had a similar issue with my 2016 Opel Insignia. Same symptoms – error message, lighting fault. Turned out to be a corroded connector. Have you checked the connector pins for corrosion or damage?
