Thanks for the reply! No visible coolant leaks, and the cooling fan seems to be working, though it's hard to tell if it's at the right speed. Was your issue definitely the thermostat, or something else? Any specific tests you did to confirm?

In my case, it was indeed the thermostat, or as they called it, the 'map thermostat.' I didn't do any testing myself, to be honest. I just took it to a trusted workshop. They diagnosed it pretty quickly and mentioned it's a frequent problem with these. Probably best to get it checked out by a professional to be sure.

Appreciate the advice! I'll book it in with a workshop and mention the thermostat. Hopefully, it's a straightforward fix. Thanks again!

Sounds familiar. I had something similar happen with my Equus. Overheating and slow warm-up are classic signs. Could be a defective thermostat, which I think is a common thing with these cars. Have you checked for any coolant leaks? Also, is the cooling fan kicking in properly?
