EQV ABS Fault and Traction Problems

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2022 Mercedes EQV electric at 34077 km The ABS lamp is on, and I'm encountering traction problems It seems the ABS system is malfunctioning Diagnostic checks indicate a speed signal fault, potentially from a defective control unit Has anyone else encountered similar ABS input malfunction issues I'm anticipating a repair cost of around 1000€ Could this also affect the odometer reading

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your EQV I haven't personally experienced this exact problem with the ABS, but a speed signal fault does sound concerning Have you checked the ABS sensors themselves Perhaps a sensor is simply dirty or damaged, causing the malfunction I'm not sure if it will affect the odometer

Thank you for your response I appreciate the suggestion regarding the ABS sensors To clarify, when you mention 'checking,' do you mean a visual inspection for obvious damage, or would you recommend a more in-depth diagnostic procedure Also, could a faulty sensor realistically trigger a complete ABS failure as indicated by the diagnostic report

To be honest, I meant a visual inspection I'm not very technical myself If a diagnostic tool is reporting a complete ABS failure, I think that might indicate a more serious issue than just a dirty sensor It sounds like the affected control unit is indeed defective, as the error code suggests Perhaps it is best to consult with a qualified workshop

I appreciate your input and honest assessment It seems my initial concerns were well-founded I will indeed schedule a visit to a reputable workshop for a thorough inspection and repair The diagnostic pointed towards a defective control unit, which seems more plausible now Thank you again for your time and advice
