EQV Blower Motor Issue

My Mercedes EQV electric engine has developed an issue The fresh air blower is not working The blower motor is not running and I have an error stored in the error memory related to it Has anyone encountered a similar problem I've checked the relevant fuses and they appear to be fine I am trying to understand if it could be the fan speed controller some issue with the climate control unit itself or a break in the electrical wiring harness Any insights into likely causes or troubleshooting steps before I consider replacement would be appreciated

I have a Mercedes EQV as well and I experienced a comparable situation not too long ago The air flow was completely absent despite the climate control indicating that the blower should be operational Have you confirmed the voltage at the blower motor connector Also did you perform any tests on the climate control module for example running a diagnostic check using a diagnostic tool

Thanks for the quick reply I have not yet tested the voltage at the blower motor connector directly I only checked the fuses Could you elaborate on the diagnostic check of the climate control module What parameters should I be looking at specifically And did your issue end up being a faulty blower motor or something else related to the fan speed controller

In my case the diagnostic check of the climate control module did not reveal any anomalies However after further investigation the issue was indeed a defective blower motor Given that you have already checked the fuses and have an error code related to the blower motor it is highly probable that the blower motor is indeed faulty Considering the potential complexity of diagnosing electrical wiring issues and given the cost you mentioned consulting a workshop for a replacement might be the most efficient approach

Thank you for confirming I appreciate the advice I took it to a workshop As suspected the blower motor was defective The replacement including labor came to 365€ Everything is working as expected now
