EQV dashboard lights acting up

My Mercedes EQV, build year , with an electric engine is having some trouble. The dashboard lights are acting up. Sometimes they flicker, and the headlight switch seems unresponsive. I'm getting an error message too. I suspect it might be a faulty car switch or an electrical problem somewhere. I've checked the fuse box, but nothing seems obviously blown. Any ideas?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar electrical problem with my EQV, also with the lights switching on seemingly at random. Have you noticed if it happens more often in damp weather? It could be a bad connection somewhere.

Damp weather... that's a good point. I hadn't really paid attention. Where did you have a bad connection?

Unfortunately, I couldn't find the issue myself. It was too complex for me. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They mentioned something about a defective cable or plug connection related to the light switch. Better safe than sorry with electrical issues, especially with these cars.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to the workshop and they found a faulty connection. The repair cost 95€. Everything is working fine now.
