EQV GPS Antenna Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Mercedes EQV developed a fault with the GPS antenna, resulting in no GPS reception. The suspected cause was a defective GPS antenna. After consulting with others, it was suggested to check the antenna connection, but due to the complexity, it was recommended to have a workshop handle it. The workshop confirmed the antenna was defective, replaced it, and resolved the issue.

Thanks for the quick reply. Where exactly is the antenna connection located? Is it easily accessible, or does it require dismantling trim panels?

The connection is usually under the shark fin antenna. Honestly, getting to it is a pain; I'd just bring it to a workshop. Save yourself the headache and potential for breaking something.

Thanks, I appreciate the input. I took it to a workshop, and you were right; the GPS antenna was defective. They replaced it, and now the car navigation works perfectly. Repair cost was exactly 200€ as initially estimated.

Sounds like what happened with my EQV. No GPS signal is like trying to find your way with a paper map these days! Did you check the antenna connection? It might just be loose.
