Error in the lighting and warning light in the speedometer on VW Up 2018: Exchange of experiences and suggested solutions

Hello repair professionals, my 2018 VW Up with petrol engine has been acting up a bit recently. There are errors in the lighting and a warning light in the speedometer. I suspect that the glow agent may be defective. Do you have any experience with such problems? How was this solved at your garage and what experiences have you had? I am grateful for any tips!

Hello, Has the wiring harness been tested and checked beforehand? This should always be checked first before a replacement part is replaced, Please let us know if you were able to find a fault in the wiring harness.

This could be due to a loose connection or a faulty switch. Start by checking the wiring and connectors for these lights. If everything seems fine, the issue might be with the switches (brake light switch, reverse light switch, etc.). If you're not comfortable doing this yourself, I recommend taking your car to a mechanic for a proper diagnosis.

The error code P0A13 is related to the hybrid battery pack cooling fan. It's usually located in the hybrid battery pack itself. This issue could be due to a faulty fan, a bad fan relay, or a wiring issue. I recommend starting with checking the fan and its relay. If you're not comfortable doing this yourself, it's best to take your car to a professional mechanic.

Error B12E915 , Parking light has no function in automatic switch position and causes this error. As soon as low beam is switched on, the TFL lights up in full brightness.

This error code suggests an issue with the automatic light control system. It could be a faulty light control module, a problem with the light switch itself, or a wiring issue. Start by checking the light control module and the light switch. If you're not comfortable doing this yourself, I recommend taking your car to a professional mechanic. Please let us know how it goes.

Hello, I have had a problem with my car lights since the day before yesterday. I have a 2011 Golf 6 Variant 2.0 tdi. After I fixed my airbag fault and reconnected the battery, my left xenon headlight started flickering. After about 5 minutes, the flickering stopped and the headlight was on permanently, even when the ignition was off and the car was locked. In the meantime, the left headlight no longer lights up permanently. The problem has now moved to the rear. This manifests itself in a slight glow of the left tail light when the low beam is switched on. I probably have a ground problem. All the fuses have already been checked. I have also checked the headlight and the fuse box in the engine compartment for moisture. What else could I do? BG Rob
